Danish hypercar manufacturer Zenvo Automotive revealed the production-specification Aurora Tur at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on Friday, July 10, 2026. The bespoke 6.6-liter quad-turbocharged V12, developed with Mahle Powertrain and internally named Mjølner, produces 1,250 hp on its own and combines with three electric motors for a total system output of 1,850 hp (1,380 kW) and 1,700 Nm of torque. Only 100 units of the Aurora will be built — split evenly between the road-focused Tur and the track-focused Agil — with customer deliveries beginning in the second half of 2027 and prices starting at approximately EUR 2.8 million before options.
The two Aurora Tur validation prototypes shown at Goodwood mark the end of a multi-year development program that first appeared dynamically at the same event in 2025. A single Aurora Agil show car accompanies the Tur cars in Præstø-built form. The Tur represents the more powerful grand tourer configuration, adding two front-axle electric motors and all-wheel drive to the shared V12 core.
Aurora Tur vs Aurora Agil: two configurations
Zenvo will build 50 units of each variant. Both share the same 6.6-liter V12 combustion engine, carbon-composite monocoque and hybrid powertrain concept, but differ in electric-motor count, drive layout and setup philosophy.
| Version | Combined power | Drive | 0–62 mph | Top speed | Dry weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aurora Tur | 1,850 hp / 1,700 Nm | All-wheel drive | 2.3 s | 420 km/h (260 mph) | 1,548 kg |
| Aurora Agil | 1,450 hp | Rear-wheel drive | < 2.5 s (est.) | ~365 km/h (227 mph) | < 1,360 kg (target) |
The Tur reaches 0–300 km/h (186 mph) in a claimed 9 seconds and 0–400 km/h (249 mph) in 17 seconds. The Agil pursues a lighter, more aggressive setup with a single rear-axle electric motor rated at 200 hp added to the 1,250 hp V12 output.
Powertrain: the most powerful V12 ever fitted to a road car
Zenvo claims the bespoke Mjølner V12 is the most powerful V12 combustion engine ever installed in a homologated road car. The 6.6-liter unit runs four turbochargers, revs to 9,800 rpm and is compliant with Euro 7 emissions regulations. Standalone output is 1,250 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque, before the hybrid layer is added.
The Tur adds three electric motors to the V12: one integrated into the eight-speed Ricardo transaxle at the rear and two independent motors on the front axle. The two front motors contribute a combined 400 hp and enable torque vectoring across the front wheels, delivering all-wheel drive without a mechanical driveshaft. Total electric contribution is 600 hp, bringing system output to 1,850 hp.
Chassis, dimensions and aerodynamics
The Aurora is built around a bespoke carbon-fiber monocoque with carbon-composite body panels. The Tur measures 4,819 mm long, 2,024 mm wide and 1,187 mm tall on a 2,800 mm wheelbase, with a claimed dry weight of 1,548 kg. Wheels are 20-inch front and 21-inch rear, wearing Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires in 275/35 R20 front and 335/30 R21 rear sizes. The rear wing serves double duty as an active airbrake.
Transmission and driveline
Both Aurora variants use an electrified eight-speed transaxle developed with Ricardo, controlled by paddles behind a driver-focused steering wheel. The gearbox integrates the rear electric motor to provide smooth low-speed operation and shift assistance. In the Tur, the front-axle motors operate independently of the transaxle to enable torque vectoring and instant-response electric assist off the line.
Zenvo Aurora price and release date
Zenvo has confirmed the following pricing and production plan at Goodwood:
- Aurora Tur: from EUR 2.8 million (~USD 2.8M) before options
- Aurora Agil: from approximately EUR 2.8 million (each variant priced individually)
- Production: 100 units total (50 Tur + 50 Agil)
- Deliveries: second half of 2027
- Assembly: hand-built in Præstø, Denmark
Zenvo Aurora vs Bugatti Tourbillon and Koenigsegg Jesko
At approximately EUR 2.8 million, the Aurora Tur places itself directly against the Bugatti Tourbillon (from EUR 3.8 million, 1,800 hp) and the Koenigsegg Jesko (approx. EUR 3.0 million, 1,600 hp) in both price and output. The Aurora's V12 configuration is unique in this segment — the Tourbillon runs a naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16 hybrid, while the Jesko uses a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8. On a 0–62 mph figure, the Aurora Tur (2.3 s) sits between the Tourbillon (~2.0 s) and the Jesko (~2.5 s), with a claimed top speed of 420 km/h that trails the Jesko Absolut but comfortably exceeds most road-going hypercars.
Development timeline and Goodwood milestone
The Aurora program was first announced by Zenvo in 2023 and made its dynamic debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed as a pre-production prototype. The 2026 Goodwood showing represents the transition from prototype to production-specification vehicle, with Zenvo confirming that customer deliveries will commence in the second half of 2027 following continued validation work through the remainder of 2026.
What comes next for Zenvo
Zenvo intends the Aurora to establish the Danish brand as a producer of series-limited hypercars competing at the highest performance and price tiers. With just 100 units planned across both variants, the Aurora is positioned as a collector-grade proposition. The company has not disclosed successor plans beyond the Aurora program.
